Another gorgeous day on LBI, sunny and temps in the upper 70s.

Today’s featured photos are of “The Shack”.

While “The Shack” is known as a LBI landmark it is actually located on Bonnet Island which is part of Stafford Township.  Now privately owned by Jersey Outdoor Media, the shack has a rich history.

Once known as “Happy Days” and home of a fishing and gunning club, the shack dates back to the 1920s and has only been at its present location since 1957 when it was moved to make way for the new Rt. 72 causeway.
