It appears that Ship Bottom will soon be getting it’s very own Dunkin’ Donuts according to this sign on the ReMax building in Ship Bottom.

A rather eventful day in Ship Bottom where a tractor trailer full of construction debris (concrete/wood/etc.) overturned along West 8th Street just after 11am.
Fall is in the air on LBI and high temperatures have remained in the mid 60s all week.

A beautiful, warm, sunny day to be on LBI!
All Long Beach Township beach buggy entrances are closed due to severe beach erosion.
Beach buggy entrances between 23rd to 31st Streets in Ship Bottom are closed due to soft sand.
As of this time, 6pm, beach buggy entrances in Barnegat Light, Beach Haven, Harvey Cedars and Surf City remain open.
As seen below, around high tide Ship Bottom appeared to be taking the brunt of today’s tidal flooding with Brant Beach and Surf City faring pretty well.
Day 3 of the slow moving nor’easter. More minor coastal flooding expected at high tide but overall just a dreary day.
