The name of the “Beach Arlington Bay Beach” is a remnant of LBI’s early history when what is now the Borough of Ship Bottom was called Beach Arlington.
At approximately 6pm Island fire departments responded to a fire call at Farias Surf & Sport in Surf City.

Tonight’s clear skies make for a beautiful view of the full moon for those willing to brave the cold! By 8pm temperatures were hovering just above 20 degrees.

Wintery weather moved over LBI around 8pm this evening bringing a Northerly wind; mixed precipitation and cold temperatures.
High temperatures in the low 50s visibility less than 1/4 mile at times.
